The Texas Military Forces Museum is operated under the US Army Natoinal
Guard Historical Command, under the auspices of the Adjutant General of
the State of Texas.
The Museum focus is the armed forces of the Texicans, the Republic
of Texas, and the State of Texas.
The museum is located in the center of Camp Mabry in building 6.
It is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday 10am to 40pm.Restroom
facilities for visitors are located in the main building.
The artifacts on exibit are sorted by time general period, and by particular conflicts.
A modern armor display is located exterior of the museum, another indoor armor display and two galleries; one specifically for the 36th Infantry Division, and the main gallery for the various Texas Forces.
